Vresion 2 Upgrade Error

I tried to upgrade JEM version 1 to version 2. I uploaded and overwritten the previous files. But I am getting this error and can't move to the next step. I can't access the admin panel or the home page as both are showing this error. Please let me know what to do as early as possible. Thanks...

hello,

make sure that you have clicked on the database updates option in Settings
> Global Configuration

Settings not accessible as I am getting the error when I try to login.

Sent mail to support and with my JEM installation login and ftp details.

Waiting for your response. Hope you'll be able to fix it soon.

you need to login to the admin area first, and run the database update option in Settings > Global Configuration so that the database is up to date for the current version.

Without being able to access the admin dashboard, how can I update the database setting ?

Already sent the login details and ftp details to you. Still awaiting response from your side.

It's going to be day 3 since I have been seeking help. Any way to speed up the response ? The site has been down since the last 3 days, it's our pharmacy website and we have been heavily advertising on facebook, so can't afford to keep it down for long. I've been expecting a much faster response from JROX.
