This username can then be over 20 characters long. When setting a cookie for a referrer you can set a sponsor for over 20 characters. The error comes when you are an admin trying to update a member with a sponsor that is over 20 characters long. "The Sponsor Field Can Not Exceed 20 Characters In Length." Seems like a bug.
